06.21.2023 – OCA is seeking to hire twenty (25) OCA Community Outreach Fellows who will collaborate with their local OCA Chapters & Affiliates through various seasonal projects in various cities in the West Coast, Midwest, Southwest, and Northeast regions of the United States. If you are a DMV local, join OCA-DC as a fellow and work directly with community members and local or state partner organizations of the Greater Washington DC area to work on the projects you are passionate about.

This position is funded by the FCC Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Outreach Grant, and the objectives of this role include, but are not limited to, educating, and helping enroll, the AANHPI community about the ACP benefits. An important tactic of the role is to utilize cultural organizing strategies and civic engagement tactics that will foster a strong democratic society for generations to come.

This role will be part-time for a minimum of one year, maximum of two, and will report to the OCA Community Outreach Coordinator. There is no set schedule of hours per week or month, as some months will require more hours due to outreach efforts and community events, while other months will require little to zero hours due to holidays, etc. Work plans and schedules will be determined in collaboration by the Fellow with the Coordinator.
